The only time Soulfire doesn't decrease in when your on a floor with a certain floor effect (explained later) or during a battle. Walking around decreases Soulfire, but battling and winning increases it by 3. Be EXTREMELY careful when firing the sorcerer's ring, as it decreases Soulfire by 10 for EACH shot. Each floor will have a floor effect which will either help or handicap you. One boss is after clearing floor 10, the other after clearing floor 15. You will have to clear 15 floors and face two bosses (more on the bosses later). If you beat an enemy on blue background floors, they will just reappear after about 5-10 seconds. On floors with a blue background, you DO NOT have to defeat all the enemies before the warp point appears. On floors where the moving background is red, you must defeat EVERY enemy that is walking around before the warp point will appear.

How to beat it - You will need to find the warp point on each floor. The catch is that their HP rises significantly, so be careful. I suggest putting together the 4 characters that you fight best with, giving them their best Equipment, EX Skills, Techs, Armor, Accessories, Weapons etc Most of the enemies you will encounter in Niflheim you will have seen before.
